Junior Tennis
The Randy Ross Tennis Center offers junior tennis lessons for all juniors, from just starting out to competing at the national competitive level. If a session has already begun, please contact us directly and we can add you to a program if room allows. Session fees will be prorated based on start date if starting mid session.
If you miss a class we offer one make up class per session if room is available. The make up class must be in the same or lower level class and within the same session. Makeups are not guaranteed.

Junior Development
The Randy Ross Tennis Junior Development program is designed to introduce tennis to the next generation of players with a proven method of development. Starting with smaller courts, and specially designed balls, players will progress through each level as their game improves.
Not sure where your junior should begin? Contact us and we will help you determine the right starting point based on age and experience.
- RRTC Junior Development Tennis Coaches will discuss your child's progress with you and advise when it is time to move up to the next level.
- You can chose to attend one or two days per week.
- Each session is 4 weeks long.
- You will be auto enrolled in the next session. Please give notice by the 15th of the month if you do not wish to be in the next month's session.
- If you miss a class we offer one make up class per session if room is available. The make up class must be in the same or lower level class and within the same session. Makeups are not guaranteed.
- Prices are listed below for each level

Session Dates:
- Spring #3 May 1st through May 27th
- One-week break between spring and summer sessions.
- Summer #1 June 6th through July 7th (5 week session - see summer schedule here)
- Summer #2 July 11th through August 11th (5 week session - see summer schedule here)
- Fall #1 August 14th through September 2nd
- Fall #2 September 4th through September 30th
- Fall #3 October 2nd through October 28th
- Winter#1 October 30th through November 23rd (abbreviated due to thanksgiving)
- Winter #2 November 28th through December 23rd

Your player will develop a love of the game by focusing on having fun while learning critical tennis foundation skills. Our Junior Development Coordinator, Kenny Orive, focuses on customizing each day to the specific needs of that class. He ensures each child is challenged to further develop their skills while maintaining an always positive environment.

Middle and High School Programs

Middle School Program
April 3, 2022 - May 22, 2022
The Randy Ross Tennis Center Middle School Program is for all levels, and genders, of middle school aged kids who want to work on improving their tennis game. We will work on footwork, stroke production, mental skills, matchplay, and of course have a ton of fun along the way.
April 3rd through May 22, 2022
- All Levels - Sundays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
- 8 weeks of instruction
- 8-12 players per Program
- $520 per player

High School Girls Program

High School Boys Program
April 2, 2022 - May 21, 2022
The Randy Ross Tennis Center High School Boy Program is for players who are wanting to improve their game for high school tennis. We will work on footwork, stroke production, mental skills, matchplay, and of course have some fun along the way.
Varsity Red is for the majority of high school players. Varsity Blue is for more advanced players who are on strong high school teams, play singles, state champions and similar. If you are not sure which level please sign up for the Red Level and the coaches will let you know if you are a better fit for the Blue Level.

Junior Excellence Programs
The RRTC Junior Excellence Program is for players who are serious about working on their games while having fun doing it. Each day’s drills will focus on a different aspect of the game while working footwork, stroke production, mental skills, matchplay, and overall fitness. Each session with have two hours on court and then an additional 45 minutes in the fitness center with specialized instruction.

Super Champ Level
April 4, 2022 - June 1, 2022
The Super Champ level is designed for players of all ages who are competitive at the Intermountain Sectional level. Randy reviews each player to determine eligibly to ensure the best practice environment for elite athletes. Each session includes time on the court and fitness center training. Super Champ players are usually ages 14 and over based on skill and competitive play.
April 4th through June 1st, 2022
- Monday & Wednesday - 4:30pm - 6:30pm on court
- Monday & Wednesday - 6:30pm - 7:15pm fitness center training
- Total of 18 sessions.
- Maximum of 12 players
- $1386 per player

Champ Level
April 5, 2022 - June 2, 2022
The Champ level is designed for players who are playing tournament at the district level. Players are usually 14 years old or younger for this program and are serious about improving their competitive play. Each session includes time on the court and fitness center training.

- Tuesday & Thursday - 4:30pm - 6:30pm on court
- Tuesday & Thursday - 6:30pm - 7:15pm fitness center training
- Total of 18 sessions!
- Maximin of 12 players
- $1386 per player

Junior Leagues, Mixers, Tournaments and Events
Junior Summer Matchplay
Junior Matchplay is the perfect way to practice your competitive game and prepare for tournaments. Each week there will be a singles or doubles supervised match on Mondays. Here the coach will provide real time feedback and tips to help you work on your game. Each Friday there is will be a 90 minute practice as a group. This is a total of 3 hours of tennis every week!
Guaranteed a singles or a doubles supervised match every Monday. And a 90min practice every Friday. Total of 3 hours per week.
Starts on Monday June 6th and ends on Friday July 25th (skip Monday July 4).
Levels of play:
- Orange ball
- Green ball
- Yellow ball level 2 and 3
- Challenger
Schedule:
Matchplay: Mondays 8-9:30am or 9:30-11am. Time will alternate every week.
Practices:
- Fridays 9-10:30 Orange & Green ball players
- Fridays 10:30-12 Yellow ball & Challenger players
Fee: $420 (21 hrs total of tennis!)
