Vanja Klaric

Vanja Klaric started playing tennis at the age of 6 in Gaborone, Botswana where she was born and raised. While based In the Southern African region, she was ranked 1 in Botswana and top 10 in South Africa in the women’s singles as a junior. She achieved a career high ITF Junior ranking of 395 in the world, and ranked in the top 1000 in the world on the WTA rankings.
She continued her tennis career in Florida where she played Division I College Tennis for the University of South Florida and obtained her degree in Psychology. At USF she played a pivotal role in the team’s win at the American Athletic Conference Championship in 2017, and helped lead the team to the finals in 2019. She was later appointed as the assistant coach for the women's tennis program at USF where she assisted the team in achieving a ranking of 55 out of all 340 Division I tennis programs in the nation.
Vanja is a GPTCA certified coach pursuing PTR certification. She strongly believes in a patient, disciplined and humble approach to the game.
