Trent Beckman was born and raised in Denver, where he played for Randy Ross on the Kent Denver Varsity Men’s team for four years, winning two state championships in the process, and serving as team captain his senior year. He then went on to play four years of D-III tennis for the University of Puget Sound, where he served as the team captain his senior year, and graduated with a BA in Economics.

Trent has been coaching tennis for 3 years and enjoys working with players of all levels and ages. Trent believes strongly that Tennis is not just a game, but a vehicle that helps players understand themselves, and that teaches irreplaceable lessons that can be applied to all facets of life. Trent’s coaching focuses around building strong fundamentals, and general self confidence in players bodies and abilities. Trent believes strongly that tennis is a sport where hard work will always beat talent, and uses this belief to help push players to levels that they might not have thought attainable for themselves.
